Originally from a farming background, I studied Crop Science at university and after graduating, entered the agricultural supply industry. Over the years I progressed from technical roles into various sales management positions before moving into agricultural recruitment in 1993.
Since that time, I have recruited both national and internationally across virtually every sector of the agricultural industry from board member to trainee level positions. During this time I feel privileged to have met and developed relationships with some exceptionally talented individuals.
In January 2020 I created a new company - Collingwood Select Ltd which continues to provide recruitment solutions to the agricultural industry.
Outside of work I enjoy travel, good food and wine, motor sport and live entertainment.
KATHARINE PRICE
HEAD OF RESEARCH
Born and educated in Yorkshire, I studied International Business and French at university. After a career in marketing and administration, I joined a leading headhunting firm as a specialist researcher, and have now gained over 15 years commercial and international research experience. I am adept at conducting senior search assignments both in the UK and globally, together with due diligence research, corporate mapping and other related projects such as remuneration reporting.
I have extensive experience across all of the major functions, from graduate to board level, with a particular focus on the agriculture supply industry as well as other sectors such as packaging, FMCG and professional services.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
EMMA CATCHPOLE
COMMERICAL ASSISTANT
After attending Oundle school and gaining my A-Levels I decided I wanted to go straight into the workplace. I have always been a very organised and structured individual, so this led me down the route of being a Personal Assistant.
After 7 years working within the agricultural industry as a PA, I now have extensive experience which enables me to keep an efficient and organised ship at Collingwood Select. I am responsible for many aspects of the day to day running of the business, a few of which include managing the website, liaising with both candidates and clients, advertising and general enquiries.
I live in Northamptonshire with my young family and in my spare time I enjoy baking, walking and family fun.
